hello friends, I'm Celina.

I started Groom 4 Improvement out of my house on Forest Street about ten years ago. I trained on dog coats specifically — every breed, every length, every "what is going on under there" matted rescue.

The report card started as a joke. Then a customer kept hers on the fridge. Then a few more did. Now every dog gets one, every visit, and it's how owners know what to work on at home in between.

I keep it small on purpose. One dog at a time, never two, and we go at your dog's pace — not mine.

things people ask first.

Is the report card a real thing or a gimmick?
It's a real one-page printout, handed over (or texted as a PDF) at pickup. Five categories, a grade per category, an overall grade, and a short note from me. It's how I keep tabs on coats across visits and how you know what to work on at home.
Where exactly are you?
38 Forest Street, Caboolture South QLD 4510. Five minutes off the Bruce Hwy, gate intake — you don't need to come inside the house. I'm closed Wednesday and Sunday.
What do you NOT do?
Cats. Hand-stripping for hard-coated terriers (I'll refer you). Show-grade preparation (also referral). Anything that needs to happen tonight — sorry, I'm small, I plan a few days out.
My dog hates the dryer / clippers / being touched.
Most of my regulars came to me after a bad day at a chain salon. Book the Puppy Intro even if your dog is grown — it's a 30-minute "just get comfortable" session, and it's saved a lot of dogs a lot of stress.

Call or text 0431 368 773. I usually answer within an hour during weekday daytime. Cancel up to 24 hours out — no charge. Sick dog or sick owner, any notice — no charge.
