— Why we call it Glasshouse

A retreat built around watching, not warehousing.

We started with one idea: every pet in our care should be visible to us, all day, at all times. So we built around a central glass pavilion — every room looks into it, and we work from it.

No back rooms. No "we'll check on them in an hour." Just one quiet building where your dog can see us, and we can see them.

— What's included

Every stay, no upsells.

Boutique boarding shouldn't come with a list of "extras". These are in every night you book.

"We picked Pip up and she was settled, not stressed. That was the first time after a boarding stay we could actually say that."

— The honest answers

Things people ask before they book.

How many pets do you take at once?
Three rooms, max six pets total — and we won't take more even if a room is technically free. We'd rather turn a stay away than rush the care.
What vaccinations are required?
C5 for dogs (current within 12 months), F3 for cats. We'll ask for a vet certificate at booking — it's not negotiable, sorry.
Can I bring their own bed and food?
Yes — and we encourage it. Familiar bedding and their own food shortens the adjustment by about a day in our experience.
What's your cancellation policy?
Full refund up to 7 days out. Inside 7 days, 50%. Inside 48 hours, it's non-refundable but we'll credit the night toward your next stay.
Do you take cats and dogs in the same building?
Yes, but they're completely separated. The cat conservatory has its own entrance, sound buffer, and the dogs never enter it. Most cats settle within a few hours.
